I have finally recovered. I think.
Thursday night, 7 pm flight...layover in Dallas, delayed flight. Got to Austin at 12:30 am, rental car company closed. Yelled at random person on phone until almost 2 AM...finally took a cab to my parents house...65 bucks later. Fell asleep around 3:45...woke up at 5:45 to go get the rental from the airport and be in Temple by 8. Full day, saw lots of awesome people. Surprised Dave's parents around 6 pm. Next day...wedding in San Antonio. Long day (Catholic wedding). Sunday...rested with family and ate lots of fried fish and hush puppies. Stayed up too late, but watched hilarious movie, Role Models. Woke up at 4 am Monday morning to catch a 6 am flight, girls slept in their pajamas on the plane. Got to Iowa around 10:15 am. Dave went to work, the girls and I went to bed. Busy weekend, but totally FUN!
I am thankful for kids who can sleep anywhere...

Sounds like an exhausting trip!
At least it will not be much longer before you guys will live there! I am jealous!
