Aubrey finished up her first school project tonight, and one of the questions asked what she wants to be when she grows up. Her answer: an animal doctor. So, I found this picture to go on her poster:
We had these taken for Father's Day one year, and they are some of my favorite pictures ever!! She was just way too cute in Daddy's oversized white coat!
And here she is with her finished project:
Yes, if you look really closely, it says her favorite place is Taco Cabana...lol!
showed up at our door tonight. Aubrey almost wet her pants when they came into the house. She was beyond terrified. Good thing it was just my silly brothers acting like crazy hobos....I have to say, I actually had to do a double take before opening the door!! The mustaches were a big hit! (after the initial shock wore off...)
Today, Aubrey had her very first Grandparent's Day at school...I'm glad I told the grandparents because there were A LOT that showed up today, even in the rain! Aubrey is a very lucky little girl to have such awesome grandparents!! They were all in attendance today, even with the short notice {I told them, like, two days ago and I'm pretty sure my dad found out for the first time yesterday...I blame it on pregnancy brain, along with the fact that they didn't really send home much info about it}. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures...
with Mimi and Nanny:
with GGDada and Pops: and with everyone: Thank you all for making Aubrey's day!
doesn't get much better than.... walking this little goofball to school (in my alma mater's t-shirt for college day, not "hook em horns" like daddy)
and returning home with time to still snuggle with this sleepy cutie... and on top of it, having an uninterrupted conversation with Dave before he had to leave for work.
but not for much longer. My doctor said he will probably induce in 3 weeks! I am excited/nervous/terrified all at the same time. I literally felt sick to my stomach, then wanted to cry, then laughed out of happiness at my appointment today...damn pregnancy hormones!!
was what I heard upon entering the house tonight after attending Aubrey's information night at school. Addy suffered a bloody nose as a result of some game Dave was playing with them on our newly assembled trampoline. Didn't seem to phase her one bit....she is back on there now chanting, "I'm not bleeding anymore, I'm not bleeding anymore!"
