Seriously??  The last three years have been a complete blur.  I feel like I went to sleep one night with a baby and woke up to find a little man in my house.  Crazy!!!!

Who knew Dave was such a handyman??  He replaced our family room fan over the weekend and replaced the one in the master bedroom yesterday.  Next on the list---those lovely light fixtures...

Blake's first day of preschool

Blake was so ready for school to start. He would go every single day if I let him.  He carries his backpack when we go drop off his sisters at school every morning.  He loves his teachers already and he loves playing with his friends.  I will edit this later, gotta go pick up the girls.  In the meantime, enjoy the pics of my precious little guy.  Can't get enough of his sweet face.  

starting at the beginning...

...of summer, that is.  because that is when my blog stopped.  it was crazy.  it was busy.  it was crazy busy.  but super fun.  and pretty productive.

I have been asked to post some pics of our new house, so I will start there.  I've been hard at work getting this place to fit our style a little bit more.  It's not totally there, but I got a GREAT start on it this summer.  Since I know most people like a good before and after, here is what I have so far....

Master bedroom BEFORE:

all I could say was WOW.  Someone liked their purple.

Very similar to our guest room in the last house (since we lost a room).

Our wedding vows are framed in the middle of the two mirrors so we can see them everyday.

This room is not nearly complete, but it looks a lot better.  We have plans to replace that lovely carpet with hardwoods and I need to add some color {thinking chevron stripes on the curtains?}  Here is what we have so far:

Guest bath (I didn't think I liked the butterfly sink at first because it looked AWFUL with the gold paint, but now it is one of my favorite things in the house)

I was also asked for back-to-school pics, so I will post those now.  If we hadn't moved into the new house, the kids would't be starting in their new school.  ;-)  

So, beginning and end of summer covered...now to go back and post everything that happened in between.
