BECCA'S SHOWER PICS (she's 32 weeks pregnant!):

There are moments as a parent when you are so proud of how your child is acting. For example, we went to Six Flags a few weeks back. Aubrey did such a great job riding the kiddie rides by herself (we're working on independence), and she was so concerned about how hot Addy was getting. Then there are times when they totally surprise you with their behavior. She totally lost it in the car when she realized we had left and she hadn't met Scooby. She took her Croc off of her foot and ripped it, ripped it like a grown up would rip something. She would not let up, and I was honestly relieved that we were the only ones who had to witness her temper. Example #2- We went to a baby shower today, and Aubrey was excellent. She was patient, and she helped my old college roommate open her presents for her new little one. She was so sweet. Then we had a one year old's birthday party to attend. I thought she was fine outside playing with the other little kids, so I ventured inside to talk to some people. When I returned outside, Aubrey was YELLING that she liked Mia more than Hank. Apparently, Hank and Aubrey were having a minor disagreement over the water hose. We got that settled, so I returned to the air conditioned living room. A few minutes later, a friend came in to tell me that Aubrey had hiked her leg up and peed (yes, like a dog), on one of the kid's lawn chairs. Wow, that sweet moment from earlier became a distant memory as I returned to the kiddie pool to discuss proper bathroom etiquette to my three year old. I am posting some pictures from the day, as well as some catch up pictures from this summer. It's almost over, boohooo! Enjoy!
