Whoa! Today is my first day back to work after our extremely long road trip! Dave had interviews in Lubbock and San Angelo, so we left last Wednesday and returned last night, just in time for gymnastics. It was a great trip, and the girls were awesome. Mimi came along for the ride, and she helped out tremendously with the girls. I had real estate tours in both places, and Dave and I had to attend dinner two different nights. Other than having to choke down peach cobbler ( I have a thing about warm fruit), the meetings went well. We are more confused than ever about where to go, so much that we haven't quite talked about the events of the trip. We had a lot to process, and it is much different now that we have little ones to think about during this transition. Speaking of little ones, watch yours in parking lots. Aubrey came very close to getting hit by a truck in the hotel parking lot. It was ridiculously scary, especially since the guy wouldn't have seen her had Dave not yelled her name as loud as he could. It made me thankful for my babies and my family; no matter where we end up, we will always have each other. Enjoy the pics! Just click on "view all images" to see the slide show. Love, jenn

Out of the mouths of babes...
Aubrey kept telling me how she played with Mickey Mouse during her computer class. She has been talking about her new "puter" class since she started, and I kept thinking that maybe she played a computer game with Mickey. However, last night I finally realized that she was talking about the actual mouse on the computer.
Also, she was wearing her Crocs last night, and I guess they are getting too small. She said, "I think it's time to take these to Goodwill."
Her director at school had surgery on Monday, so when we were putting together a little gift for her last week I asked Aubrey what she liked about Ms. Kim. She replied, "her face". When I asked her what she liked about Ms. Kim's face, she replied, "it's happy". That is why I love her daycare.
Whether it's the tone of her voice or her expression while saying it, it's almost everyday that Aubrey says something that makes me laugh.

Catching up on posts...
Lots has happened recently.
1) Uncle Bink had his first varsity Homecoming game, and my mom made the girls mums for the occasion. It was pretty funny!

2) Dave passed his written board exam! I knew he would, but it is always a great day when you receive the offical word. Now, according to Michelene, I am one step closer to being an official doctor's wife. No comment.
3) We are leaving for good ole West Texas next Wednesday. Dave has actual, real life job interviews. We might be moving back to Raiderland, Go Tech!
4) Aubrey started PCKidz at school, and she can't stop talking about her "puter" class.
5) I caught the "locker thief" redhanded at school yesterday. Two points for Jenn. That little kid is sneaky.
That is all I can think of at the moment, but I will update more later. Have a great day!
